How To Use Slayer's And Xbpartitioner For 500gb
« on: January 11, 2007, 11:04:00 AM »

This is good info!

I'm planning to upgrade my xbox HDD to a 320GB Seagate, and I'm also using bios X2_4981.06.

I want my F: drive to use "rest of the space", as I don't want a G: drive (and can't have one with the .06 bios).

I've heard that XBpartitioner won't work with 4981, but it seemed to work well for you.  I'd be interested to know if your F: drive works well with XBMC and after you fill it up more, hopefully you will not get any corruption.

Please let me (us) know if your big F: drive with 32K clusters continues to work after it get filled up more.

Thanks,
Bit.

Thanks for this. Wasted 2 days thinking it was a faulty hard drive. Just reinstalling now, lets hope it works this time  beerchug.gif
