Thanks for the reply. Here's some detail--I have a Xenium Gold Chip. You push the large reset/open DVD button to start up via the Xenium then boot the Evox through the Xenium menus. I modded, adding a remote on/off starter via the small power button. The Xenium still boots up but when I go through the Xenium menus to boot Evox, the initial Evox screen comes up (with the pink Evox icon in the top left corner and the original Xbox splash screen in the background) then it just hangs. Normally, the screen will flash a time or two and things will start up just fine.

I hope this clears things up a bit.
