Restoring Dash Via Network?
« on: November 27, 2006, 03:31:00 PM »

I've had my xbox for many years now, installed a smart xx v2 way back when, anyway i was changing my dashboard over to XBMC and somewhere along the line i messed something up  now my xbox has no loadable dashboard, and i cannot access my HDD via lan to swap the files back to evox.

I tried unlocking and connecting the drive directly to my computer, but it wont install it, it knows its there but i'd have to format it in order for it to let me browse it :S

Is there any way i can access the hdd files remotely or from my smart xx menu system?

Thanks a bunch for anyone who can help me with this smile.gif

You can use a boot disk since you are chipped.

You can also use Xplorer360 to browse the Xbox hd in Windows.

any tips on using XBMC as my dashboard, i figured it would be as simple as just as simple as putting all the files on the C drive for XBMC, but apperently not tongue.gif
