Evox Dashboard Boot Disc Wont Load Up?

You could manually install the files through FTP in the X3 bios. Then just set the bios's boot order to include the evox xbe file you ftp'd over.

Here is a good link that shows how to use the X3 bios, and there is a great networking tutorial in my sig written by mrRobinson.

I've had troubles with certain drives reading certain medias. Example : The Samsung drives won't read Dvd+R, they will read Dvd-R fine. The Thompson drive reads Dvd+r's and Dvd-R's but odviously, craps out way easier.

Hope this helps. I've had to pop in a thompson just to be able to install a softmod (cash via a xecuter2, remove chip, reboot). They're really picky I guess.

Also make sure you have a dummy file on the DVD.

You may try using Slayer's or AID.
