Are you softmodded or chipped?

For a softmod, run the game you used to install the mod. Install it again or get FTP access and FTP the back ups on your PC to the Xbox. If you don't have backups, I strongly suggest you back up everything as soon as you get access. This can be fixed with Xboxhdm and your eeprom.

If the HD ever dies and you don't have the eeprom, you will need to chip it.

After I installed the softmod, I deleted the exploit, and I can't get it back on my xbox now.

That was your first mistake. You ALWAYS want to keep the exploit savegame on there as a safety precaution, even if you don't need it again.

You didn't back up any files did you?

I bought a solderless adapter and a mod chip just for occassions like this. Not mine mind you. I back everything up.

Put in the solderless chip and gain FTP access. FTP the game save over and reinstall the softmod. I would use Krazie's Ndure this time.

This just happened to me as well except I am chipped. I accessed my xbox through FTP and it appears that my entire /G is gone. Im not sure what to do here, I had my box modded for me so I dont have any of the softwear to fix it. Does the lack of /G mean that my HD has gone bad or just that the files have been corrupted?
