What are these so called Ic's that you speak off,

they sound very strange, very strange indeed...

if there are any Ics that would be a definate no for running without the board?

IC means Integrated Circuit.  They look like little black boxes on the circuit board with lots of wiring coming out of them

ok well that are quite a few, so does that mean  that  i cant run without the main board, there is also a board that goes with the screen, that also has ic's on it? would the screens circuit board replace the main circuit board..


by the way, pics up in a few mins

this is the circuit board that goes with the screen

this is the wire that connects to the board (the other side is the mini-din)

this is the cicuit board that goes with dvd player, notice the RCA and 12v connectors toward the back

This is how it fits into the box, the only thing its covering is the smaller heatsink

so any more comments would help.. its almost  a nice fit, but if i didnt have to put the bigger board in it would a lot easier.
