Game Back-ups, Sorry But How The .....
« on: October 17, 2006, 11:11:00 AM »

I was just wondering how exactly to transfer a game to the xbox. I have read many tutorials including the ones here and I'm still having troubles. Maybe I made a bad copy of the game and thats why its not working, anyways I am downloading a copy from the net as mine is not working and I want exact step by step directions on how to put that game on my xbox with a 250 gig hard drive, version 1.2, evox dash 2.6 auto install.

Alright heres what I assume I do.

Once the file has downloaded, I open the folder and using winiso or another iso program, I extract all the iso's about (48 mb each), to combine the data into one xiso.

I then use a program such as Xbox iso transfer,

Select "Load ISO"

Find and load the xiso I just unpacked.

The result should look something like this?

Then select transfer and wait about 10 minutes or so? cause one of my games went in like 10 seconds, which obviously was not correct.

Once the game is completely uploaded onto the xbox, restart the xbox and go to launch games from hard drive, and play?

One of my games freezes while loading, and the other results in a black screen. Any help would be appreciated. I have uploaded home videos onto the box with no problems, except that launching xbmc from evox and playing the movies results in only sound, however loading avulaunch and playing them through xbmc works fine.

That wasn't helpful. Also, it is not considered piracy if I own a UPC of the game, IE (I own the game).

Back-ups while somewhat in a gray area, are completely legal.
