Upgrading Evox?

You could use a skin that has the version in it (such as administr8or).

By the way, the "new" evox is 3935 and is over 2 years old. You could just get the release on xbins and ftp all the files to your current dashboard directory. Make sure the xbe is named the same.

I would upgrade it...It is very difficult to screw up if you just replace the files and make sure the xbe is named the same.

Only really old bioses would boot to yboxdash.xbe

One way of finding out which xbe is the right one would be to launch each one and see what it does. You could use an app with a file manager (such as unleashx, xbmc, dvd2xbox) to launch it or you could add lines to your evox.ini. evoxdash.xbe is most likely the xbe that your xbox is booting to.
