You could just replace all the avalaunch files with the evox files. Just make sure the xbe is named the same.

For a more advanced option, you could reflash the bios with a bios that you know the boot order of and know where it looks (I suggest x2 5035). Then just make sure you have the xbe named correctly and have all the files in the right place.
