« on: April 13, 2005, 10:16:00 PM »

hi........ i got a broken motherboard (1.0v) from a friend who attempted to mod it but he damage both of the traces leading to the D0 pts. it look like he tried to fuckin drill a hole(lol) in the topside d0 point and lifted the trace. i repaired the alternative d0 pt. and i was just wondering if i repair the other pt. can i still use a modchip by connecting a wire to the alternative pt.

well if he tried todrill it, i think its fucked. the motherboards are multi-layered, so if he has destroyed any underlaying traces, the board is gone. but you can send it to some of the people around here who do repairs. they can fix anything

well i dont think his xbox will boot the M$ dash so if you put a chip in there and solder to the d0 trace you repaired, he can boot the hacked bios. that is all, he cannot boot into the M$ one to go on xbox live or anything like that unless you repair the top d0 trace as well (somehow lol)
