I Screwed Up...
« on: August 30, 2006, 08:11:00 AM »

Well, I Thought "I think i should make XBMC my default Dash" Me being a mac user, info on the inter net is rare is just PC, PC. So i decided To try the...ShortCut by Team XBMC one it seemed the most "mac-friendly" one. i tried as best i could, i backed up my original evodash , but now it doesnt even boot to evox it just stays on the xbox logo thing, To the point where i cant even correct my errors becasue i cant Ftp it back. Very frustrating.

Questions: Could i but my ORIGINAL EvoxDash.xbe on a boot disc, and run it from there?
Could i use Evox soft mod , and then ftp it back into my box?
Could any of you provide me with a "mac-friendly" xbmc dashboard tutorial?

Do i have To eraseEverthing? Idont rerally want To start Halo 2 , far cry insticts , FF9 , pokemon ruby, jest set radio and any other of my vast amount of games, again....Would you?

Thanks,kingmozo

If you have a softmod, you will have to boot that game again to get FTP access.

Let me know if you get FTP access back. I can't write the instructions to fix it right now.

Did you make the config file? It has to point to where XBMC is on the HD.

This isn't a PC/Mac thing, as all changes are made on the Xbox via FTP.
