Use the M$ dash to change your settings

its the dash that comes with the stock xbox. you can also use unleashx or xbmc. you could just install either unleashx or xbmc as an app and use that if you dont want to use the ms dash.

ms is "MS" dash, ie the original interface your xbox came with, ie what you see when you boot with the mod disabled.

You can do a lot with "those apps". Actually they are also dashboards. Best thing to do is install them and try them out, or start reading the pinned topics in the relevant forums.

you really need to read more...the MS dash is an application that is on every stock xbox. you run it and there is an option to change the time (it is named xboxdash.xbe in the c drive). no, time is not the only thing you can do with xbmc..nor with unleashx. read the features list for both. there you will see what each app consists of and what the differences are.

what type of mod do you have?

as i said previously....you can use those apps to do what you want. you can launch the ms dash. you can change the time. in evox, you choose the option that says "MS Dashboard". xbmc is on the second server that you get when you !list. unleashx is in the dashboards section.

thanx for this, and i dont even have that dvd-player software. the only way i can launch dvd is from unleashx>ms dashboard. otherwise it wont work in evox dashboard...

and another thing i found funny is that it wouldnt let me create ANYTHING in c:

like i tried creating a directory "Trainers" in C: it wouldnt let me. so i made it in e:\dash\ and it worked, showed up on my evox and everything. trainers work but xored launcher will not work, it would just freeze on the launch screen.

weird...

ill see if i can spot the ms dash on c and try this out, ill let you know how it goes...

btw i finally gave my new xbox away, phewwwww... it was almost perfect...
