Hey, just backed up one of my games to my HD, and as it loads, if I push anything, it hangs up. Any ideas?

what game? did you use latest version of DVD2XBOX?

Well I backed up several games, and they all hang. I even tried playing a game from the origional disc, and it hung up at the point of accessing the HD.

I'm not sure whats going on at this point.

I used this software called XBCopy, and it seemed to work fine....
Should I be using DVD2Xbox? If so I have version 0.6.1, hopefully that is what I need.

Quick question, if I wanted to boot up automatically in evox, do I just need to rename the "evoxdash.xbe" to "default.xbe"? Thanks for all the help! I must admit, I'm pretty much a noob to all of this. Thanks again!

So if I have the new version, should I just go into a file manager, and delete the old version? Then copy the new version to my apps?

Also, to change my dash, so that it boots straight to evox, I just go on my file manager, and change the evoxdash.xbe, to "default.xbe" and it will skip the xecuter dash and boot straight to evox?

More problems. So I copied the newest version over, I used a cdrw to do it.... Anyway, when I go to run the app, it goes to the standard loading screen, then dumps me to my xecuter menu. Any ideas? Thanks again for all the help guys! I really appreciate it!

Just had a thought, couldn't I use XBMC to back up my games to the HD? It seems to transfer other files just fine. Just throwin that out there. Thanks for the help guys!!

So I'm still fighting this crap. I tried installing the newest version, and it just hung up again. Wondering if there is a troubleshooting faq out there. If anyone knows of one, please speak up. Thanks!!!!!

Swapped out my thompson drive, and put the phillips back in. The thompson drive I was using was messing up, because I installed the clear top piece that came with my crystal case mod. It was allowing the cd to wobble a bit as it spun, so it was only reading small shreds of the information. He he, noob mistake, I know. Lesson learned. Thanks again for the help everybody!
