Help! Evox/hard Drive Crashed?
« on: March 14, 2006, 06:45:00 PM »

Allright so just a couple of hours ago I went to start up my xbox and to my surprise to find that my EvoX menu is now only giving me the following options:

- Ms Dashboard
- Settings
- Reboot
- Power Off
- Backup

It worked perfectly before, I haven't changed anything on it. In the settings page I can still see that the C, F, E drives are active cause it's showing how much free space it has.

I've tried connecting to the XBOX via FTP so I can at least back-up my save games with no succes.

I've been using this XBOX for about a year without any problems like this.

Any advice as to what to do now??

Thank you so much in advance!

sounds like your ini was corrupted...it happens.

boot off an evox boot disc (to regain ftp...or you can use any program on your xbox with ftp) and ftp a new ini file into your evox directory.

I can't run any program off my xbox, so I can't get a FTP connection like that. I tried installing EVOX with Slayer EVoX auto installer with no succes sad.gif
