Newbie, Evox Not Running After Installing

i allready did this before i flashed, i found out that i have a v1.6 xbox, and then flashed it with the m8 for 1.6 from the slayers, but something went wrong smile.gif

Well I was reading a tut and it states "M8 1.6 bios boots F or E:\evoxdash.xbe" which means if you dont set up the boot partition on the bios with EVtool it will try to boot the F or E partition, If that fails then it reverts back to the original dash. Also have read up that you would need the M8+ Bios. This I beleive can be found at "the usual places".

and because of that, my chip doesn´t boot?? It like boots and then turns of the xbox, and then little later it turns itself on but in stock. Oh well i dont have any choice but to let the guy install a new one

Ok now i got my xbox fitted with a new chip DuoX3, and still after installing from slayers, the default msdash boots´with the duox logo in the left corner. :S

Maybe you might want to consider a soft mod, or along those lines, a TSOP flash, which is a little better than a softmod if you don't play on Live.
