My Xbox is giving me Error code 16(dashboard/dashboard settings)when I start it up. It was dropped so something could be broken, not too sure. I tried out my old Evo boot disk but it goes straight to the error. Can I reformat the drive thru my PC and start the process over again? I also have an original Western Digital Hdd from another Xbox but mine came with a Seagate. Is there a guide for something like that? I won't mind taking the chip out if I have to. I'm really only wanting it for Xbox live anyways. I believe I have a V1.1 Xbox and a Matrix chip. Not too sure on what EvoX is installed or the BIOs on the chip.
