Red Menu's After Ftp
« on: August 11, 2005, 09:00:00 AM »

If the listings are showing up red (which I'm guessing in your case means when you scroll to 'XXLineXX' it goes right past it, correct?), the evox.ini is probably not being told to look in the right place for that particular application/game/whatever.  Another possibility is that the evox.ini is corrupted, although I have not seen anyone complaining of these same symptons when this is the case.

I know in your original posting you said "I transferred all the files from my other modded xbox." Just to make sure I am clear and don't end up confusing the hell out of you, you copied EVERY SINGLE FILE from one XBox to the other.  Meaning evrything on the C:/ partition (1st Xbox) was copied to the C:/ partition (2nd XBox), everything on the F:/ (1st Xbox) partition was copied to the F:/  partition (2nd XBox) and so forth?  If so, it obviously should be working.  The only thing that would come to mind is this : Did you use the Xenium chip to prepare the HDD in the 2nd XBox?  If so, which version of the Xenium OS does the chip have?  I remember reading that early version of the Xenium OS could actually corrupt a HDD when used to prepare it.  Other than that, I have no suggestions to look into at the moment.

I've used many Maxtor HDD's in XBox's and not had any problems with them.  I'm thinking it may go back to what I said before about using the chip to prepare the HDD.  Get you a copy of Slayer's Auto Installer 2.6 and use it to format, partition, and setup your HDD.  I'm thinking that will take care of the problem.
