Anyways, I reformatted and reinstalled everything and it was WORKING!!! He took it home yesterday,. he called me today and told me that he played a game from the CD for about an hour,.. then took it out and played a game directly from the HDD for about 10min,.. THEN IT FROZE!! He restarted and BOOM,. Error 13 pops up again. He brought it back today,. I pop the Evox 2.6 disc back in try to reinstall the dash (Without Reformatting 1st),. and nothing,. noticed the time on the clock,.. and it was 12/5-8907 AGAIN!!
I have no clue what the problem is,.. he had the XBOX modded and working fine for about year before it froze for the first time 6 months ago. Someone told him it might be the harddrive. He's been wanting a larger harddrive anyways so he went ahead today and bought a larger one. I'm gonna install the larger one and all the software again, BUT I wanna make sure that it WONT happen again. I don't want to have to install and FTP everything 3 times in a row.
Can anyone tell me if this is ACTUALLY a harddrive problem or if its related to something else?
