What Copy/delete/rename Commands Are There?
« on: July 09, 2005, 04:10:00 AM »

I know that stuff like
CODE
[Action_14]

Info "Copy apps to E:\apps"
Warning "Does not format anything",1
Progress "Relax. I'm doing stuff..."
#

copy "\e\" "e:\"

Works, but what are the syntaxis or commands (whatever you wanna call it) for delete (not format!) and rename operations.

Not one fucking INI readme seems to tell me...

I tried stuff like
CODE

delete "E:\apps\"
but it doesn't do shit. So i guess evolutionx needs more info, but about what?

Thats not the point.. i would ask for script commands if i didn't know that.

I just wanna know WHAT file operations evolutionx can preform, and how to sript em.
Think "installer".

Im in the middle of disecting Slayer's EvoX Installer to make my own littler personal version for setting up XBox's I mod.  The best advice I could give is to sort through his evox.ini and go from there.  I am guessing you may be able to use the format command on a particular directory in a partition to delete something; without losing the whole partition, although I have not yet tested it.  Hope that helps you out a little.

Yeah i got all that already, i just need to be able to delete files one-by-one instead of format the partition (i do that now, dont like it, to "big")
