I've read that mythtv can kinda act like a tivo for the xbox but does
any one knows how to install it. Oh ya if you can tell me how to install Linux
on it too.

i was woundering if it is possible to install linux as an app. I would like to use mythtv and other linux apps but i dont want to turn my xbox into a computer.

there are emulating programs but when you emulate you also emulate hardware. good chance there arent any drivers for the emulated hardware so running mythtv wouldnt make much difference. also mythtv is a pain to setup and install if you want to pursue it then be my guest.

running linux inside of windows wont work.

only way would be to install linux on a seperate partition.
