The VGA bios is only needed if you're connecting with a VGA cable.

I don't think that monitor has composite inputs (it's not listed unter input connectors), but even if it did, you wouldn't use the high def pack or a vga bios, just regular composite connectors (the ones that came with your Xbox).

If you want Hi-def on that monitor, get an X2vga, a VD-Z3, or build a VGA cable and use a VGA bios (only if there's a VGA bios that will work with your Xbox though).

Yes you are correct im sorry. So i cant connect it to my monitor then. I am doing alot of research on weather it is worth buying on or not. 70 dollors isnt cheap but it is alot cheaper then a new HDTV.

Yes you can. I am doing this myself.

You need the high-def pack and a VGA BIOS (I am using IND 5001 VGA). You also need three rca-bnc adaptors or cables then just hook them up to the Red, Green and Blue BNC connectors on the monitor (lucky for you your monitor accepts sync on green).
Some games are still green, so I am probably going to get an x2vga when I can afford one, but the HD pack does me for now.

No, composite is the yellow plug, usually found along with red and white (audio). An RF modulation adapter uses a screw-in type connection.

An rf modulator converts the rca plug or the yellow wire into the f connector (the screw in kind)/

i got the high def pack with the convertor connectors on it and ive tried every bios on xbins. But no matter what i do it still shows green. Ive been reading around that it matters which version of xbox i have its a 1.0 so i would think that it would be the most compatible.

I've been reading a lot about the x2vga adaptor but no one seems to have one
at the momment. I'm interest in getting one.

http://www.x2vga.com/

Does anyone have one? If so, can you please comment on picture quality, etc...

Thanks,
Ernie  :)

It's whatever is fed to the RF Modulator pack (some circuits that take composite video AND audio then feeds it to a coaxial cable). I guess it would be redundant to say that though since using RF is nothing more than composite video with the audio thrown in to the same signal (which is then separated by the TV/VCR/whatever).
