Who chipped it?  Just so that people know to AVOID GETTING MODS FROM THIS TWAT!

How can a knackered BIOS not be connected to the chip?  IT'S ON THE BLOODY CHIP!

Happened to me too. The flashing lights of doom. My xbox was working, i went to eat came downstairs. It ends up my dog had been trying to get some food off of my xbox, and tipped it off my table. The AV was broken. It did not have the same led's as most people did though, mine was just a red and blank flashing. So I got it fixed. Then i found out that the av was broken. it didn't look broken when i opened it, but even the slightest break can cause it. also... is your fan working? if not it could be a section of the board burnt out.

Reflash the chip or replace it with a decent one.  Xbox itself should be fine (remove chip and it should boot retail BIOS).

If he didn't mess up the LPC, the D0 points, or some other traces, you might be able to install a new chip.  Does it frag since you got it back?
