ok i got jade empire played the original copy on my xbox
my xbox is ver 1.6 (moded with an aladdin 2 chip .....works fine.... then evox works fine ..... tryed other dashes all worked fine but took them off.) no problems that didn't get fixed trust me on that.
so in the end I have my ms dash as an apps worked for 3 weeks no problems with main dash as evox.
ok so i put it in my xbox it poped up with an update xbox...... online thing i thought nothing of it cuz i don't use my xbox online any way, i'm not hooked up to the internet so i didn't think. but when it poped up it went to my ms dash. after playing it no problems ......
took the game out then i look at my xbox and it was still on my ms dash so i turned it off..........
my ms dash poped up again, kinda worryed me so i poped my evox boot disk in and got my ftp access fine. i was playing with some files trying to find the problem when i noticed my file that is called. xboxdash.xbe was not moving i have a back up of my c, e, drives and i erased my xbox c drive to just the oringinal xbox files then transfered the originals over top of them (overwrite all) but my xboxdash.xbe would not move it made 2 coppys of it the real one 1.87mb and the one thats there witch should be the evox one. so i took off the one i just put on the original xboxdash.xbe file so all that was left was the oringinal hard drive and the evil file that is xboxdash.xbe size 752kb xbox dosen't work it just pops up with the number 13 in the top left corner and the rest of the screen jiberish and what lokks like chinines writing.
so i put the oringinal file on transfered it and push over write all didn't do any thing to the file so i have 2 xboxdash.xbe files one 1.87mb and 752kb reboot and it works with msdash but no matter what i have tryed it will not put evox on or get rid of the 752kb file can't rename it either. any help
i also replaced my e, drive (overwrite all) i need so help i would like to be able to put evox or any other dashes on i have only tred puting evox on cuz i see no point in trying any others if i can't change the xboxdash.xbe file
