Installing Slayers On A New Harddrive...
« on: April 01, 2005, 02:33:00 AM »

Ok it has been a while and I just need to confirm a few things... I already upgraded my harddrive and put in a 60gb in it, now i want to change back the hard drives... and put the 10 gb back in... now it is blank... but to my knolege that should be fine right,,, I just put in the install disk and it should load the disc right? I did that on a cd-rw however it loaded some error and said I need service... is it prob just a bad image version of the slayers.... i am doin it right though right i am able to use a totally blank harddrive... and oh, I do not have it wipped does that matter.... do I have to do a full format first on the disc.. then it should work? Thanks...

Do you have a mod-chip?? If you dont, you are getting an error because your xbox cant read unsigned code, so it tries to go to the dashboard and tell you it cant read the disc. But sice your drive is blank, it cant do that. it just produces an error.
