Digital Audio Error
« on: December 07, 2004, 01:54:00 AM »

I have my Xbox hooked up to my h/k avr 4500 receiver with MS official av pack (optical cable). And I can choose DD/DTS in ms dashboard BUT,  when i've had my xbox and receiver off for a few hours and then turn them on I can't choose dd or dts in msdashboard anymore its gone in the audio settings. I'll have to wait a few hours for it to be visible again and then I can enable it.

Pretty weird huh?

Im running latest evox on my xbox.

Any ideas what it could be?

Your A/V pack is broken.  Return it for a replacement.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try with another.

Are there any particular AV Pack you recommend?

The official (MS) one will be just fine.
