Well i think that is the right track to update the bios with evtool. Not sure if i tried it right though. I opened the m8_16plus bios and then changed the options i wanted then clicked the save as and saved it to my HD. Then i ftp'd it to my C drive on the xbox but when i went into the settings on the evox dashboard to flash the bios it brings up a screen like it wants you to select the bios you want to flash with but there were no bios files in it.
It also does not tell me where it is looking for these files so i dont know where to put the .bin file i created in order to have it flashed to bios. There is not a real good instruction manual that i could find so i just kinda guessed my way through it. I think the .bin file i created is ok as i did not change very many options.
Any advice on how to flash would be great (like where i am supposed to put the file so it shows up when i select flash bios on my dash board.)
Or if anyone knows they will be online at 6pm central time i would appreciate aim or msn chat to help me get this set up. PM me if you would be able to do that please.
