Use ava or unleashx as your dash.

What can yo do? You can change one of the dashes to ava or unleash or mxm, any dash that supports PASV mode. Evox doesn't. Look at this:

The only other thing you can do is not use an ftp transfer method that requires pasv mode. Like get xtoolbox or any xbox ftp client and use that to ftp directly to the other xbox.

doesn't matter which one you can take files and send files from either one they both don't need it xbtool is what i use works great

if your using a crossovercable both xbox's MUST have static ip addresses... if your using a router u can just use DHCP on both xbox's and all will be good.

you need an ftp service that supports passive mode for FXP to work.

you can install xtoolbox on one of the boxes as it has an FTP client which will connect to the other xbox acting as the server.

Make sure both are statically addressed since you're using a crossover.

managed to do it.

i have xtoolbo 0.41 and all i had to do was to create the ftp address by pressin the white button but there was no way in hell to know this coz theres no help file.

ionce i had done that and set the ip address prior to that.. it was all good.
