Can't Connect To Xbox Via Ethernet
« on: February 03, 2005, 05:06:00 PM »

I am having trouble connecting to my xbox. I was able to load the x3 bios through http. but not that's the bios is installed I can't connect to the xbox anymore... and I can't make an ISO DVD with toast to load my EvoX. after I connect the cross-over ethernet cable to both my computer and the xbox, it says "0.0.0.0 Err X" on the botton of the screen. my checked my network setting on my computer, ethernet connection is on DHCP and it pops up an IP, but won't connect using; ie, connect to server, or ftp. has anyone had this problem before? is there a certain screen I have to be on in x3 to let my computer access the xbox? or a setting I overlooked? thanks.
