X2vga Problem
« on: November 02, 2004, 10:48:00 AM »

I cant get no signal at all with the X2VGA thorugh my TFT monitor,  I have the enigmah switch set to NTSC.  I have also enabled 480p on the dashboard using my TV to do it.  I have tried i a couple of different variations of dip switches.  But nothing seems to work, I have the green limited edition Xbox.  I would so love to be able to viw my games in 480 P but it does not look like this is going to happen.

Ps, Does not having the VGA In connected to my PC make a difference as i do not, I only ahve the X2VGA + plugged from my TFT to my XBOX.

Many Thanks

All dip switches should be off.

Does the game you are trying definitely support 480p?

Does your tft definitely support 480p?

You have pushed the power swtch on the x2vga+ to turn it on haven't you?

Okay,

If i have dip switch four turned on i can view the games, but im sure its still a composte signal, when i then turn the dip switch down so all four are off the screen goes blank.

Im not 100% if my TFT supports 480p but how can i tell?  Its a hp Pavilion f1703, very new.

I'm having this problem too, I have a Sony G200 17" monitor.  I also get a message "Out of Scan Range"

Does this mean my monitor can not handle HD?
