Adding Games To Evolution X

While Evox may not be the best dashboard out there, it's probably the easiest for us noobs to use.  In other words, I use it too.  All you have to do is put your games in the E:/Games or F:/Games (or G, if you have one) and Evox will pick them up.  Same, put your apps in the E or F:/Apps folder.  Just make sure that you don't have multipe subdirectories.

For example, make sure the path to the default.xbe is f:\apps\App1\default.xbe not f:\apps\evox tools\app1\default.xbe

Should work just fine.  Emulators go in the apps folder.  You may have to edit the evox.ini to point to that folder once you add an emulator.  The evox.ini is mostly self-explanitory.  Just make a back up incase you mess up.

I did all this and I still don't see the games in the games menu in evo.  Any ideas?  It's in the evox.ini file as F;/Games and the folder is Games/gamename.

One onther thing.  I can FTP in FlashFXP but I can't see any of the files on the xbox and I have the options set to show hidden files.  If I use CuteFTP I can see the parent directory on each drive but can't ul/dl  or dril down.  Then if I use WS FTP Pro I can see and ul/dl and everything is visible.  any ideas on this too.  I'm new to this and read the guides but this just isn't working right for me,  Thanks.

What program are you using to transfer the games from your PC to your Xbox?  Also, you aren't leaving them as ISO's are you?

Lastly, after you have transferred anything over (be it games, apps, skins, etc) you have to reload the menu.  You can reboot the xbox, or just run like Xplorer and exit back out.  Did you use the Slayers to install?  If so, try Avalaunch and see if they show up there.
