You can't lock the drive in the MS$ Dash. Use EvoX or ConfigMagic to lock the drive...

Try a different Bios. Make sure the bios you use has the same LBA48 setting as the one you currently have... It sounds like a bios thing...

.06 is for large F:\
.67 is for Normal F:\ and G:\
So it depends on how you formatted your drive (LBA48 settings).

What size is the bios 256k or 1mb

-1MB or 2 x 512K BIOS chip capacity is what the specs say
