Can't "save" Network Setting In Evolution
« on: October 28, 2004, 06:26:00 PM »

Hi All,
I searched around, couldn't figure out my problem. Here is my setup.
I have wireless Buffalo routers. For some reason DHCP does not always pick up a conection, so I went to static. I can get static to work fine in my X3 bios, I can FTP with cuteFTP, but when I launch a dash, Evox or Avalaunch, I can't save my settings to match my Bios. When I change them, leave that screen, i go back and there are right where the were before. I am missing a save step somewhere? If I understand, I just turn off DHCP, click yes for static, enter in my info, then go back to the previous screen. But the setting reset themselves to some type of default. Any ideas?

after you change your setting's scroll all the way to the bottom and look for the save and exit command.
