Internal Sync Mod
« on: October 09, 2004, 11:48:00 PM »

Im about to attempt the internal sync signal mod posted at xbox-linux but i have a problem the 74HC14 used for the 75 ohm load termination. I cant find any online in New Zealand. Is there an alternative that could be used.I have plenty of oldish graphics cards and mobos with on-board gpus.

I cant order from there as i dont have a credit card or paypal and money order is expensive for a 50cent chip. Thats why it either must be an alternative i already have or a company in NEW ZEALAND.

Some examples of IC's with schmitt trigger inputs are Hex Inverter IC's such as 7414, 74LS14, and 74HC14

The 74HC14 is an inverting schmitt trigger so wouldnt that invert the signal or should a non inverting trigger be used instead the person who typed the tutorial may have made a typo.
