Cannot Ftp Xbox Hdd

Hello i have jus d/l the latest release of evox, i havent installed a dashboard on my xbox but i know that i have to back up xbox hdd to my comp hdd, after creating the iso boot disk, the main screen of the dashboard comes up with a left and right hand column and a sroll bar in the centre to choose settings. in the left column the list show the ip address, however it says that mine is IP:0.0.0.0 which obviously means that i havent been allocated one. so i scroll down to system settings and under network it has IP,Line Status and Ethernet MAC address in blue text so i cannot change them settings with the IP address still as 0.0.0.0, please can some one help

Before you burned the boot disk you should have edited your evox.ini and set up your xbox with a IP address,Subnetmask and Defaultgateway then you should have burned the disk.

yes do what the above guy said and read the tutorial in my sig to get your settings right.
