really like slayers installer 'butt torrent' sucks, always end up upload faster than download. 3 hours, what a pain in the arse.

they don't put a link to the global search anywhere but it is a search tool for all newsgroups. Find what you are looking for (look for the par viewer and click it it will find every piece of the program you are looking for and queue it up)

I downloaded Slayer's in 5 minutes from easynews. I always get 500K from easynews which is the max of my internet connection so I don't know what others will get.

Did you backup C:? Are you installing a large drive or retail (M$)? Read the manual.

EDIT it did turn on the F drive but I still can't see the C drive... don't really need to I guess but I think I could before

I must say that my firsy XBox mod went 100% PERFECTLY thanks to Slayer's 2.6.
It can't be much easier .. everything I needed plus some extras.

Adding and locking a new hard drive was basically 2 clicks away.

i just got v2.6 final and then i had to get xbox tool 2 so i could extract the rar file it came with. correct me if im wrong (which i probably am

) but then i need to get the .iso file and burn that. i looked through the folders and there wasn't one...i'm probably doing something wrong huh?
