Check What your Connection is, should be 100mb full duplex.

Also, what kind/model NIC is in your computer?

Ahh ok, interesting setup, heh.

Your being limited to 10mb half duplex by something, im guessing the usb. This is 10 times slower then 100mb, so the speeds your getting are that suprising.

Whats i would do?
Go to you local PC shop or best buy and pick up a ethernet card for $15 or out of a bargain bin for $5. Put the card in your pc, then set it up like this:

modem-->router wan port
router port 1-->Computer
router port 2--->Xbox

Make sure you pick up a Ethernet card that is 100\10mbs compatible, any new card would be. This will probaly help you internet speeds to if the usb cable is limiting your speeds.

Try running avalaunch and test your FTP speeds with that. First transfer a moderately large file (50-100MB or more). If it goes slow, then it's your network setup. If it goes fast, then it's just evox. The same thing happened to me, I would only get 400kb/s in evox, but 5-7MB/s in avalaunch, and 8-9MB/s in XBMC. But now, my Evox connection somehow sped up (I haven't touched any settings) and I get up to 8MB/s in Evox.

Install New operating system, i had the same problem. I was getting 20kb on xbox transfer, but when i tried in new operating system it was 7mbs. which is 1000 time more...

Nothing is wrong with network card, just install new operating system.. something is wrong with operating system hope so.. it work for me so it should work for u too.
