Switching To A Bigger Hdd Help?
« on: August 10, 2004, 10:13:00 AM »

Hi all,

Search hasn't worked wonders for me, so i'll try to be clear, and have the clearest answer back.

Xbox v1.2
Xenium ICE Chip
8gb HD

I'm running EvoX's latest bios, and EvoX dashboard.

If I want to Throw in a new HD (a new 160 GB  Maxtor 5400RPM Drive on the way [figured it was coolest and quietest]), what do I need to do on the software side?  I have backed up the contents of my HDD on my Computer, what's next, besides switching out the drives...

I installed the bios through FTP, put it on the xbox C drive, and then used Xeniums OSLoader to pick that bios for startups. So I've never made a bootdisk for it... though I have had success with Ritek DVD burns.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
