Hey everybody...

I've got an Error code 06 on my 250gb Xbox HDD. I'm pretty sure I don't have an EEPROM backup with that drive. So I locked the drive to play online, worked well, went to unlock it and reboot, then I got the error.

So now I've got my ORIGINAL 8gb HDD hooked up running Evo fine and made an EEPROM backup with that. So my question... is there any way to restore my original drive using the access I've got with the original drive? Shouldn't the EEPROM contain information for both hard drives, or is it overwritten?

Error 6 Is When You Lock An Hdd With One Box And Try To Use That Same Hdd In Another Box.

Didn't You Do That ¿

Nope, I upgraded the HDD, and that upgraded HDD is giving me Error 06. I really don't know how it happened... I just tried unlocking it with ConfigMagic , rebooted, and bam.

Try Using EvoX Boot Disc To Lock The New Hdd.

I try booting with Slayer's and it won't even get to the boot screen. Would an Evo-X boot disc be any different?
