is your HD locked ? (you can download ConfigMagic off xbins and it'll lock it for you)

what softmod are you using?  if you're using UDE you have to hex edit the ms dash or it won't work.  also, you have to run nkpatcher or pbl before evox, otherwise you have to habibi everything.
