Question On Hooking Up My Xbox To An Audio Source.
« on: October 08, 2004, 09:57:00 AM »

Ok here are the details.

I have an Xbox and the Advanced AV pack.
I have an okld television with no RCA connectors only the F connector for cable.
I usually use an Xbox RF connector but I want to use my Xbox to connect to my old record palyer/stereo.

it works fine when  I use RCA's from the advanced AV pack to the audio in in the the Stero but then I hav eno display.

I noticed my old SNES and NES rf connectors use a RCA for there input.  If I connect that to the xbox's advanced av pack video out will I get Video on my TV?  That would rule.  Anyone know I need to find out for tonight and can't test it.

no the NES thing wont work.

just run the video through a vcr then into the tv over rf.  then you can hook up the audio to your stereo.
