Connecting With Flash Fxp

On the cd you can't change the settings unless you change them on your pc in the evox.ini then reburn the cd.  How are you connecting? crossover/router what?  Also in the dash is the 192.168.100.10 IP you see in blue.  if it is you could give your pc 192.168.100.2 and then you should be able to ftp to the xbox ip.
You should read the tutorial in my sig it will explain it all to you.

So you must not have read my configuration 2 completely (or maybe you just didn't understand).  Anyway, go to start -> run then type cmd and hit enter.  In there run ipconfig /all and paste the results of that here.

Hey looks good.  now in that same window type ping 192.168.100.10 and let me know what that says.  Also make sure the video cable is plugged into your xbox and the windows xp firewall isn't turned on.

Looking good so far...
post the network section of the evox.ini you are using.

if you had to would it be a problem to change the evox.ini settings and reburn the cd?

First try pinging 127.0.0.1
if that responds fine, (which it should) then make the network section of your evox.ini look like this:
[Network]

SetupNetwork = Yes
StaticIP = Yes
Ip = 192.168.100.10
Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0
Defaultgateway = 0.0.0.0
DNS1 = 0.0.0.0
DNS2 = 0.0.0.0
SetupDelay = 0
SkipIfNoLink = No

Also I've noticed from screwin around from the settings that if I change the TCP/IP settings and make the IP 192.168.100.10 then I get a ping reading but as when it's on 192.168.100.2 all I get over and over is request timed out. Dont know if that means anything to ya but thought I'd let ya know

ok, now this is a long shot but here's what works for me.

I was having lots of problems like you when I first tried FTPing to my Xbox, and I finally got it worknig by doing the following:

In Windows XP, go to View Network Connections (Start>My Computer>View Network Connections)

DISABLE things like "Local Area Connection 2", "Local Area Connection 3", etc.. making sure not to disable the regular Local Area Connection. Make sure you have that one set up with the right IP address and Subnet mask, and try connecting to your Xbox.

It's the only way it works for me.

On a side note, and odd thing about my computer is that I have Local Area Connection, and Local Area Connection 4, yet I only have one etherenet port coming out of my computer. I have no idea why it's like this.
