But stil some games will not run under Evox???

Check for a newer version of Evox then.  I'm using 3921 and it runs everything I've tried (since turning IGR off).

switch to avalaunch its mutch better.

1 Background music
2 every 5 mins a new skin
3 BOOST mode
4 can download savegames directly of your xbox to your xbox.
5 it just is a cool prog.

I fail to understand your post.
The original poster isn't disputing that Evox is at fault.  He acknowledged that he may be missing some steps.  So he's asking what could be the problem.  Your answer is that everything works fine for you.  How does that help him???

Can't say I know what the problem is, but install newest evox AND newest chip bios, it should fix your problems.

I'm currently using X2 4981.06 bios with EvolutionX V+3935, which I understand shoud be near enough up to date.  This is what I have in my evox.ini

If you can spot anything that looks incorrect please let me know (haven't included network settings or the bios names and skin settings)

I would really like to get this working - from first impressions I'm not convinced  that Avalaunch is the dashboard for me.

i have the same problem but i'm using evox 3935 dvd2xbox and the games that haven't worked are 007eon, the suffering, and fifa2004. can any1 help me out.

Woohoo.....

I've finally found the solution, or at least i think i have.

Went through changing every evox setting until I found the one causing the problem.

In the video setting my Video Standard is correctly displayed as PAL, my Game Region was set to AUTO.  So I change this to Default.  The games that didn't work before are now working.  Hurray... I checked to see if this had effected games that had been working, and they're working too.  I haven't been through all of the games yet, but fingers crossed I think this has solved the problem.

Would be interesting to know if this is a genuine bug? if anyone else has had the same problem? or even an explanation as to why this would happen?

Thanks to everyone who replied to my post, I probably would have lost heart and settled for another dashboard if I'd had no replies.  Thanks to everyone who read this post.  Let me know if this has helped any of you.
