Nope, sounds like its having problems reading the disc!

I had that prob when i modded my first xbox, and after 2 hours it said it had finished, but left my hardrive completly blank!

Well, during the first try, after about 2 hours I just decided to eject the disk and reboot to see what would happen. The evox dashboard came up with an incomplete menu. I ftp'd to the xbox and saw that all the apps were installed on the F drive. I took the cd-rw that had the slayers iso on it I did a full erase. I then reburned the iso at 2x speed (previously I burned it at 4x) and popped the disk back in. It booted to the disk, I chose option 3-1 again and it took about 3 minutes to install.
