Xbox 1.0/enigmah Chip/evolution-x Problem...
« on: January 25, 2004, 04:19:00 PM »

Hello! I *think* this is the right forum to post this...

Anyway, I have an Xbox 1.0 (Kernal: 4034, Dash: 4034) w/ an Enigmah Chip installed. I recently put on Evolution-X, but the only problem I am having is the eject when you open the drive. I don't want/need it to keep rebooting whenever I open the drive. The bad part of this is that the Enigmah can't be flashed and I don't want to solder in a new chip or the TSOP points. I was thinking I could use the Pheonix Bios Loader and load up the appropriate fixed bios (BFM of course). The only problem is that I am stumped at how to go about doing it and if it would even be worth it/work. My Xbox boots up to Evolution-X (3935 version) and I have no problem FTPing files in there. If you have any ideas on what to do or advice, let me know. Please don't flame. Thanks in advance!
