Pheonix Dashboard?
« on: January 04, 2004, 01:59:00 AM »

Hi Group.
I met a kid recently and he reckons he has no mod chip in his box and when he turns it on a dashboard with pheonix comes up.  He can play copies etc... I questioned him and told him that if he is playing copied disc's then he must have a chip in....
He reckons he hasn't he's not really up on xbox stuff nut he assures me the stickers underneath have not been tampered with...   Any Ideas...  He kept saying something about Phoenix.

Thanks

Ratty.

Just flash TSOP...'
You don't need a chip.

Phoenix is a bios loader. The xbox in hacked via softmod, and phoenix loads a hacked bios.

You don'nt need a modchip, just a new bios. This can be in TSOP, modchip or memory
