Live Overwrites Evox?

I have the same problem, i was playing Rainbow Six 3 with my friend and we wanted to play multiplayer, and i clicked on xbox live and it updated my xbox with xbox live.  I've tryed to make a evox boot cd, but all i get is a message saying my xbox cant recognize the disc. I used a memorex cdrw disc which work before. can anyone help?

punkrock, on your CD do you have "evoxdash.xbe", or "default.xbe"?
Common mistake is to forget to rename evoxdash.xbe to default.xbe when burning it to CD.

Alright xbox studs. I am glad I found this fourm. I dont think I over read anything so heres my question. I had mine mess up also. Just like you guys. I got mine fixed and to boot right. Now I cant get a connection (xbox to computer). Cant ftp now. The xbox wont give a IP address. Its prob something simple, just seeing if you guys know.
