right evox will never be a media player, but how did a technical genius i know make playback via dvd files from F:\Videos\DVD Name here etc?

Ive tried the @ and ID commands but only work for dvd disc, not files on h.d.

anyone know a good way to start on this?

Ok, now this has been covered and i think i got it right but i really need confirmation because i do not want to screw up my evox intallation or my box...
i want to upgrade my evox but am still not sure how to do it... smile.gif

i have

- Xbox 1.1
- Matrix Chip (very old), Bios ist still original, so also very old
- evox 3285

am i right in the assumption that the only thing i have to do is replace the old evoxdash.xbe and the old evox.ini (of course updated with my network settings) with the new ones?? Do i also have to get a newer Bios? I hope not, as i wouldn't know which one to take and how to flash my chip...

Thanks in advance

Does this version op EvoX also solve the problem of a complete system hangup when returning to the dashboard from the Media Centre-application?

Somehow my screen turns black when exiting Media Centre en returning to the dashboard..

Hello! I use Mac OS X and can happily report that 3935 works wonderfully with Transmit. I was using 3752 w/ X2 4979 and had the FTP problems that were discussed. No longer a problem. Seems faster, too, at about 7300/s via crossover.

Read the nfo here.  No new features this release, just bug fixes.

One thing to note, there is now only 1 instance of IGR to turn on/off instead of 3.

Hope FTP works with Debug BIOS now, and works for Transmit on mac... I'll post back about Transmit in a few minutes.

Edit- It now works with Transmit in OS X!  Thanks Team EvoX, you rock!

Anyone had a chance to test the FTP with the debug BIOSes yet to see if its still broken?  Tx.

just for the record - evox has never ran right with a debug bios, I wouldnt expect this to have changed.
