The only reason you got jumped for saying something is when you started bashing the installer and saying it was full of bugs. If you had addressed the issue correctly there would not have been even 1 reply to your words. Yes you are correct there are a few bugs in the 3921 Evox release this is not slayers fault and it does not mean slayers has any bugs what it does mean one of the apps installed has bugs and was unknown at the time of the release of the installer. If we had known of this we would have mad an option to use the 3752 Evox dashboard or 3921 when installing Evox or most likely held off the installer release till the next release that will address these issues.

Just something to think about, this is freeware or hackware and is free to anyone who wishes to use it. But you pay good money unless you pirated a copy of your MS operating system on the PC you write is this thread with. Bugs in software is nothing new and when it is free you should be greatful instead of full of bitterness. Just something to think about!

So for those of you that are having problems and want to keep the current install of the latest apps that 2.5 installed and want to use the older version of Evox (3752) just replace the 3921 evoxdash.xbe on the C: of the xbox file size is 752K with the evoxdash.xbe from 3752 file size is 680K, now most if not all menu functions will work fine. This should resolve the issues with games and FTP and any others that have been found. this should hold you over till the next release of evox comes out. will  there be a new or 2.6 of slayers when this happens I doubt it. there is no reason to make a new installer just because evox updated you can easly replace the file your self.

this is my first post here on the scene, but i have taken the time to actually read the info and i have to say i have had zero problems with slayer 2.5 install, EVERYTHING HAS RUN FLAWLESS. read before you post, i am proof of the perfection in slayers last installer and the info provided on xbox-scene .i have modded 9 xboxes all with 2.2 or 2.3 xecuters, and v1.0 to v1.4 boxes.  again i reiterate ZERO PROBLEMS. please realize, computers even xboxes only do what their owners tell them to.

I installed slayers 2.5 yesterdays but when i rebooted my xbox the only thing I got was the original M$ Dashboard...? anyone?

I've just used the installer V2.5 to change my bios from 4976 to 4977.  I also installed the xbmp and other applications.  I didn't installed the latest evox as I figured out from the forum that there were still bugs.  Everything work great.

Thank you very much SlaYerS, for producing such a user friendly installer.

Instead of a new SlaYer version being 120 gigs plus, a monthly update on the latest and greatest software in the SlaYer dummy proof installation.  Great program once all docs are read twice!!..

Thanks bro Yeah, the truth is I read my balls off. When I first got the mod, I figured that all I had to do was plug it in and get it working like a ps1. Ghost will not work because the PC can't read the XFAT format the Xbox uses, and to the best of my knowledge there is no tool for a PC to read the Xbox drives and produce a file from it. There is a tool to do a bit copy but that will only work with like drives from one to the other and is very slow at best.  
At the current time there is no tool to read, write, edit, copy, or any other function of the Xbox HDD on a PC.
