This is most likely a problem with your ISP because thousands of users download the files with no problems, some are on dial-up and have to resume many times this is not the IRC it is there ISP timeout settings, get a better connection from using a friends ISP or tough it out.

Yes the bot has been working fine and as far as i know there has been no problems other then the settings of your IRC client, this is the main reason you dont get the files I am in the channel at this time and I dont see you there nor have I seen you there all day so if you want help getting the files ask in the channel there are severial people there to help you get your setting corrected

because i dont have the xbit chip to test on i cant give exact instructions on flashing it using the installer, but as long as it is able to take a 1 meg bios or a 256K bios flash then the installer would work fine, i beleive the xbit is 2 meg flash and i dont recall seeing the ID for that chip in the installer if it is not then you wont be able to flash it, the evox flash will say wrong id and stop the flash before anything is done to the chip, the flash files can be extracted from the installer bios folder and used then from your PC to flash the chip

I got a Alladin V2.0 cip installed with a standard hd. Also using Xbox live.
I want to install a bigger hd and use slayer to prepare the disk.

Can anyone tell me if slayer fixes up my harddisk and makes it ready for xbox live?
(locks hd) and enables me to turn off/on the chip?

The installer will be able to prepair the HDD including the formating and installing the 4920 LIVE M$ Dash that will update to the current version 2.0 the first time it is connected to Xboxlive, and yes there is an option to lock the drive if it is capable of being locked, as for the ability of turning off the chip that is a manual operation you have to preform via a switch of some sorts so the installer will not be able to turn off the chip, if your question is will what is installed allow you to boot the retail MS dash with the chip off and allow you to use Xboxlive yes it will i have 2 accounts on differant xbox's and both are chipped with X-2 chip and i play live often.

thank you so much for your work slayer.  just modded my first xbox with an aladin advance chip and it was not too easy for a beginner in soldering. but then i bootet your cd and everything went more than perfect.  i checked first with an old 8 gb hd... it was still full of old data. just put it in, format, partition, lock...perfect. then i bought a new 120gb myxtor drive... perfect.
big big  big respect for doing things like this! while other people try to make money with bad and expensive sw full of errors you do very, very good and understandable work for free!!

Most likely the reason you only get the MS-Dash is you have an old bios on the chip that does not support booting to evoxdash.xbe. because you did not give any info about your xbox version the chip installed or anything else I can only guess what is happening but what I said above is most probably the cause.
your options are if this is the case is to FTP in and rename the files or flash the bios on your chip to a current release which are supplied on the 2.5 installer

can i upgrade my bios from the cd if i have an x2lite? i heard that i have to get a programer because x2lites cant be flashed from cd any idea? only reason i am not sure is becasue i got a premod so havent had to worry about anything

Yes the X2lite can be flashed with the installer disk, you will, however need to open the Xbox and remove the flash protect jumper, if it is installed.  You can try to flash it without opening the Xbox, if the flash jumper is on you will get a response.  The chip is not flushable
in that case, you will have to open the Xbox and remove the jumper, if in fact, there is an X2 inside.

This slayers disk is the greatest thing since sliced bread.  I blew out my m$ dash and thought I wouldn't be able to get back on live.  Used the disk and everything works fine.  Also saved me I don't know how many hours loading each program included on the disk.

or do i have to make two partition's: one 137GB and the rest on an other one?
