Make sure you are using the original AV jack ( the one that came in the box) not the advanced AV kit.

I am using the original cables and i also got that RCA (i think thats what its called) cable. The wires shouldnt be touching cause ive cheacked them and everything. The 2.2 pro comes with the external printer cable thing for flashing, would reflashing it with something else work? Im asking cause i dont have that cable...

I've encountered a very similar problem. My modded box has been running great for a few months now (X2 Pro), then one day it decided to restart twice and then flash green red. My solution...  biggrin.gif I drop the box from the height of about a half-inch.

Now this may not be the best way to fix a problem, but it has seemed to work so far, every week or so it reoccurs however.

Finally today I decided to put an end to my abusive fix, and popped the box open. As soon as I unplugged the top piece to the X2, then plugged it back in, the box booted just fine, up to that point however I received the boot, boot, flash. So, the lesson here, make sure everything is plugged in, and good. Apparently this will be an ongoing problem for me however, as I have reseated the entire X2 chip several times in the past and this problem just keeps comming back. I'm beginning to think that I should just flash my TOSP.

Hope I have helped, or at the very least confused someone, peace out yo.

I've had this same problem.  I think it is because your xbox cant read the bios correctly, or one of your wires are loose, which was the problem with mine.  I just flashed my TSOP and havn't had any problems since.

Sorry it's taken me a while to get on. I had a problem like that last week. I have had my xbox chipped for about two months (executer 2.2 lite plus). Used slayer's installer (I know how to install programs myself now). Everything worked good. I went into Boxplorer and started spring cleaning things I did not need. I found a file folder titled Hddloader in the E: drive. I had one already in my F: drive, So I erased it out of E:. Shut down xbox and powered it back up.

At that point it would power up, power down, power up, then frag. I powered it on and off a few times and it finally loaded. To make a long story short it took me two days to relize that I needed to put that file back in the E: drive. So went to boxplorer created new file folder named it Hddloader. And to my surprise it loaded up with no hickups. It's been about four days now and everything is fine. Maybe that might be your problem. If you can get it to start up look in the E: drive.

Just a thought.
